Most intriguingly the ’Analog Kid’ moniker seems to hint at a fully Analog Chorus (I know it’s the title of a 1982 Rush single!), while there are no ’analog’ details in the text description - no mention of Analog or BBD - besides in the name of this pedal - so presumably the Dual LFO Chorus Circuits are generated at least in part via digital means.

Regardless of the pedal’s provenance, this is a really cool take on a Chorus - with two independent channels that you can control independently - or sync together.

Controls - LEFT CHORUS } Rate L / Master, Depth L, Bypass Left Footswitch; RIGHT CHORUS } Rate R / Slave / Depth R, Right Mode : Vibrato / Chorus, Bypass Right Footswitch; UNIVERSAL } Rate : Independent / Left Master, LFO Direction : Regular / Inverted.

This is an excellent Stereo Chorus in particular - I would of course have preferred for it to have been BBD in nature, and full-stereo - with say a TRS Input Jack - versus the MISO routing it seems to have instead.

It’s pretty well-priced @ $295, where production is limited to just a finite 500 units - and most of those are sold out already. I briefly considered it - but $70 for shipping is relatively high - meaning I would be paying around $450 overall including customs and import charges - which I feel is a little much. No doubt a fully BBD pedal would have been even more pricey.

These ’Analog Kid’ Dual LFO Stereo Choruses are only available via the Lerxst Reverb Shop seemingly - where they currently say that the first batch of 250 sold out pretty much immediately, and the remaining 250 are going fast.

Had this been available in the UK at a more reasonable overall price - I would surely have considered it, but the conditions are not quite right for me in this instance. I still really like the concept! Would be cool if the LFO / Direction Mode was expanded - so you could run the two sides out of phase also - for a sort of Roland / Boss Dimension D/C style sound! Really great concept / circuit though - not sure I’ve seen one exactly like that before!
