Hungry Robot reissues the Moby Dick Multihead Stereo Tape style Delay, now in expanded V3 edition

We now have a brand new fuller featured 3rd edition of the Moby Dick Multihead Tape Style Delay. The V1 had 5 controls on a 1590BB enclosure, then we had a shrunk down Compact V2 125B unit - also with 5 controls. And now the new V3 has 8 controls and full stereo ins and outs.

Original V1 Controls - Time, Mix, Subdivision : Quarter / Eighth / Dotted Eighth, Repeats, Modulation, Tap Tempo Footswitch, Bypass Footswitch.

V3 Controls - Multihead : < Dotted Eighth | Off | Quarter Triplets >, Saturation, FM Texture (White Noise Mod / Lo-Fi), Wow & Flutter, Tape Age, Double Tracker, Blend, Repeats, Tap Tempo Footswitch, Bypass Footswitch.

The key Multihead controls switches the Multihead states - Dotted Eighth to counter clockwise, Quarter Triplets clockwise, and Off in the middle.

This V3 edition is a significantly different pedal - with lots more shaping element to adjust the nature and degree of delay.

All the controls are fairly self-explanatory - bar the FM Texture one which is essentially White Noise Frequency Modulation - which along with the Tape Age - sort of de-rezes the output.

Interestingly I’m in the middle of doing a full breakdown of the Klowra Rilum Delay - which is also a multihued tape style delay with some of the similar controls, while the FM Texture of the Moby Dick is fairly unique.

This is a really cool properly full stereo multihued tape style delay. All-round really compelling and well worth your consideration.
