A super busy month - with plenty of highlights and heatwaves.

My house is finally cooling down as I write these last few observations - we’ve had around 10 days of oppressive heat now, and there’s another wave on the way at the end of this week - which makes for very difficult conditions to have sessions with said pedals.

The Gain Box was very evidently designed for the 4 Channels / Voices to be stacked, each individual voice isn’t particularly strong on its own, but gains significant potency when combined with one or two or all of the others.

I would really have preferred a little more output volume, and probably a Tilt EQ vs the current LPF style Filter for more overall oomph! I started with all dials at Noon, and then added or subtracted as appropriate - adding Presets and Combinations as I progressed ...

I’m known for my love of Multi-Gain boxes - and this is another great innovation in that area - a really smartly engineered gain machine - with all-analog sound generation and signal routing, but with some digital controls, and 3 Presets onboard.

You have two main Operational Modes - Series and Parallel, where the Series Mode is essentially Dry + Overdrive into Fuzz + Distortion, and Parallel is each of them piled on top of the other!

This reminds me a little of Boss’s OC-5 - which has a similar feature where you can split off just the bottom strings for Octaver action - while the upper strings remain unaffected. The Dig Deep does a similar thing - with a few more parameters and features, and with 3 Presets onboard.

I tried to get all the key functions and features into the single visual above - and feel I may have over-egged it a touch - while there is certainly a lot of ground to cover!

What we have here is a +24dB Twin Clean Boost - which via TRS Cables can be separated out to two different pedals or amps, Pre and Post Boost or a sort of FX Loop Insert.
