Mr. Black's Vintage Ensemble Stereo Professional is a cool twin digital delay line modulator which perfectly recreates and doubles up the Boss CE-1 type Chorus / Vibrato

Interesting one from Mr. Black - a Dual Digital Delay Line recreation of the Boss CE-1 Chorus, set out of phase for glorious stereo output. I have plenty of MISO Chorus Pedals, but very few Stereo In and Out.

This is a really straightforward pedal to operate with essentially 2 modes - Normal and Stereo, and you can even Save a favourite Preset - which is then recalled by holding down the left footswitch.

You have the core 3 controls up top - Wet/Dry Mix, Depth, and Rate. Then you have the Preset Save button, and the Normal Stereo Mode Button.

You can wire up the pedal in Mono or Stereo - and if in Stereo - you can flip between Mono and Stereo - via the Normal/Stereo push-button.

It’s a really clever way to reconstruct chorus - reconstructing the Delay Line Mechanics digitally - versus than just blending up a sound!

Controls - Mix, Depth, Rate, Save [Preset], Normal/Stereo push-button, Tap-Tempo Footswitch [Hold for Preset], Normal / Effect Footswitch.

Ports - Stereo + Mono Input, TAP/EXP, TRS Mini MIDI In, 9V DC [-] 100mA, Mono + Stereo Output.

Right at the moment these are sold out, awaiting a new batch I belive, but you’re never entirely sure with Mr. Black as pedals get discontinued with the least amount of notice.

This might just be another essential chorus for me!
