As introduced at the recent Leeds Pedal Show - Northern Stompboxes alone has the really attractive Limited White Colourway Edition of the Fuzz Fields Modulated Fuzz and the IT.. LFO Modulator.
I own and love my original Fuzz Fields Black Set, but would be heavily conflicted if I didn’t already own one of these - I would likely have a preference for the White Set if starting from scratch, but I don’t feel it enough to want to change my unit - I’ve already bonded with it! - and everything that comes into the reference collection stays there.

You can read my Full In-depth Review of the Fuzz Fields - which I did last October. The Fuzz Fields is still one of my very favourite all-time fuzzes. It got pipped by the Fuzzbillion last year for Pedal of the Year - while in another year - the Fuzz Fields would have been a worthy winner. It is extremely dynamic - and allows you to shift up through 4 gears - via the dual-footswitches - going from Core Fuzz to Fazer Fuzz, then Gravity Fuzz, and Finally a combination of all 4 modes if you feel brave!
The Fuzz Fields is super-versatile and sounds amazing throughout - the enclosure is slightly over-sized as I would call it, but not overly so, and it justifies its footprint by the fantastic feature set it encompasses.
The It.. LFO Modulator is a handy accessory, not essential in my book - the core pedal is already special enough - but the It.. does give you some further textures - and so extends the range further. This is one of the smartest fuzzes created to date for sure!

Controls - Level / Output, Fuzz / Gain / Frequency, Filter (< LPF | HPF >), Gate, ⬆ 1kHz Notch Switch (for Filter), Gain Structure ; ⬆ High / ⬇ Low, ⬆ Phaser / ⬇ Vibrato Switch, Sense (Envelope Sensitivity), Left Punch-in Modes Footswitch : Double Press to switch Mode - Gravity / +Frequency, Right Bypass / Main Footswitch : On/Off & +Fazer (Phaser or Vibrato) - hold switch to Engage / Bypass Fazer Mode.
Dip Switches - Smooth, +Sense, +Time, Latch. (Mostly to do with SENSE / Expression)
Ports - TS In, 9V DC [-] 80mA, TS Out, CV In, Envelope Out, Expression (Fazer & Gravity).
The It.. simply has LFO Speed and Depth controls, and a CV port to connect to the main Fuzz Fields pedal. The main downside with the It.. is that there's no way to Bypass it really when it is connected!
The Fuzz Fields on its own is £349 and the Fuzz Fields + It.. LFO Modulator run to £399 - both currently available on the Northern Stompboxes Webstore. I would think these would go pretty quickly once word gets out!
Like I said above - if I didn't own the Black Edition already - I would be looking to snag one of these super attractive Exclusive White Editions! I don't feel these will be on the shelf for long.
