Spruce Effects Bids Farewell with a Magnificent Blowout Sale

The Spruce Effects Sale kicked off yesterday - Sunday, July 12th at 9:00 AM PST - and of course most everything is already gone!

I was determined to pick up a Limekiln Edition of the Americana States Series - which I very fortunately did!

Note that these are B-stock Editions - typically with some minor surface dings / blemishes. And that some pedals have different styles of metal knobs to those pictured.

It’s sad to see another unique builder retire. I of course wish them luck with all their future endeavours!

And hopefully they can come back with some limited batches - once the industry recovers and blooms again!

It is evident that the analog stompboxes audience is currently shrinking as so many youngsters lean more into digital and plugins. While I feel there will be better times ahead. Time are tough for everyone besides the Epstein Class these days.

The people will rise again!

I’m delighted I managed to snag the one I wanted here - I will report on that when it lands - which could be quite a few weeks in the distance we’ve been warned!

Here follow the ones that still mostly remain - note that Spruce had serial discounts in effect - so many of their fans used the opportunity to round out a whole series - which is why the Junior Ranger Series is mostly gone I presume!
