So Zorg has been around for 10 years now, and I’ve kind of covered them on and off for the last 8! - starting with their Zogverdrive. Most recently I’ve featured their Glue Fuzz and Love Philter - both of which feature in the anniversary editions - where only typically 5 are available of each unique Collaborative Artwork Edition, and 7 for the Colère et Bagarre Glue Fuzz MKII Edition.

You can read up on the Glue Fuzz and Love Philter features on this site!

Here are the 6 editions :

2025-GPX-Pirate-Midi-Scribble-Midi-Controller-700.jpg

I’ve been following this project for a while - and it’s great to see that this is live and out in the world now. Such a clever solution for Midi - as well as to help you decipher what’s going on with your pedal!

So many pedals have poor interfaces - and insufficient signage / pilot lights etc. to fully represent every state, preferences, or parameter changes!

The ’Scribble’ doesn’t just help you decipher what’s going on - it’s a really smart MIDI switcher - that can control 128 Presets ...

2025-GPX-KMA-Machines-Switching-Utilities-700.jpg

I first feature KMA Machines Utility Pedals back in 2023 - the AB/Y and Stereo AB/Y - which are also in this presumably honed and improved in these 2025 editions.

We have the almost identical looking AB/Y and Stereo AB/Y pedals, here joined by a new Dual Loop Switcher.

You can guarantee high fidelity and superior electronics from the Berlin-based outfit.

I know Utility Pedals aren’t a particularly exciting category - but these brightly lit examples are most definitely the droids you ...

Dr. No's Moon Canyon ends production after 104 Mooncycles, with a final flurry of 15 units

One of the most striking pedals made to date is also Sarah Lipstate’s (Noveller) signature Drive, Loop, Reverb, and Delay Pedal.

I’ve long considered getting in one of these essentially collector’s pieces. But I’ve reasoned that it would most likely end up as shelf-ware - as I would be unlikely to call upon that specific set of effects. I have far more expansive Delays and Reverbs in my chain, I don’t much use the FX / Insert Loop - and have several preferred drive types to the one included...

Parallelarator Advanced Usage Tips courtesy of Cosmic Loop FX's Rich Cattell

Following on from my March feature on the Parallelarator - there have been a number of follow-up questions. So obviously my initial post didn’t quite cover all the angles - hopefully this piece will better help you make up your mind!

I have had a few questions as to whether the Parallerator’s buffers colour the output in some way - where I can’t discern any noticeable colouring, in fact for me the use of this devices has been all-round beneficial - not just net beneficial. The main benefits...

2025-GPX-Pedalnetics-Introduction-700.jpg

I’m a little late with this - even Josh Scott beat me to the punch here - while I had always intended to do an overview article for Pedalnetics - this is just when I finally got to that task!.

Pedalnetics in the main makes various switching devices which wholly fit with the profile of the target pedals they are intended for, it also makes pedal-risers and patch-bays, as well as colourful replacement knobs for Halo Devices. The switches are either stand-alone and simply connected, or consist...

KMA Machines releases stealthy black Limited Shadow Edition for its well-loved Endgame End-Of-Chain Tone-Enhancer

2025-GPX-KMA-Endgame-Shadow-Edition-700.jpg

So it seems like some of you did not like the original copper and blue tree of life aesthetic of the original. I rather quite liked it myself, but do concede that said design is somewhat busy, and can get in the way of the pedal legends to a degree.

To which ends KMA has released a 200 Limited Run of a more utilitarian all-black edition - with the simplest of  geometric outline graphics. Meaning you briefly now have a choice as to how your ENDGAME looks.

Everything else is the same - ...

Team KMA brings on the festive cheer with a significant ENDGAME V2 Firmware Release - just in time for Christmas!

The ENDGAME Duality Calibrator - ultimate end-of-chain Stereo Tone Enhancer with True Stereo Double Tracking, Celestion IR’s and Power Amp Simulation was first announced during Winter NAMM - al the way back in January of this year. And ever since then, the KMA Machines team has been working hard to make this killer tone-enhancer pedal even better - in fact it’s a significant upgrade which has taken the best part of a year to program and evolve.

There are several updates - which I’ve ...

EarthQuaker Devices rolls out its own line of handy utility pedals - buffer, splitter, a/b, a/b/y, and flexi loops

2024-GPX-EQD-Utility-Pedals-700.jpg

So in a move that is slightly reminiscent of OBNE, EarthQuaker Devices has rolled out its own utility pedals line - mostly small in stature with simple yet useful topologies.

I typically like for my buffer to be foot-switchable, but don’t mind that the Buffer/Preamp here is an always-on type. The 2-way Buffer Splitter is another handy always-on utility - before we come to the 3 switchable ones. A cool mini powered A/B box and larger passive ABY variety. And then the dearest one of the bunch...

So this has been on the cards for a while, in fact I needed to get an update of both boards featured here, as the first version I had was almost a year ago now. The idea was always to feature reader’s pedalboards - which had been somewhat noticeably / significantly inspired by this very site.

And I’m delighted that Long-term GPX friend and pedal fan Cyril Demaegd, board game designer / developer (founder of Ystari Games) and touring musician, has been somewhat ’Inspired by GPX’ since December of...
