On the visual I’ve listed the new super affordable Cadet Series prices, which are indeed very attractive - while I already own 2 out of 3 of those originals, and have long since decided that I didn’t really need the Saturn VI, But I guess you can never say never!

Of the 3, the Saturn VI (2019) was launched first as one of the earliest ’Standard’ Series editions - that was priced then @ $179 vs $159 now, while the discounts are much more significant for the Delta II (2021) @ $229 vs $179 now...

So we now have the official release of the Standard V2 Editions - following on from the V2 Anniversary variants. Both contain the exact same new V2 version of the circuit - just in a different livery. There are still some of the Anniversary Edition available - so you kind of have a choice in how you want your V2 G-Series pedals to look!

I own all 3 of the originals - and I really like all of them - actually with the G4 being my favourite. It’s somewhat galling that I need to collect them ...

I’m very familiar with the original signature Eddie Haddad BoostDrive multi-gain + boost pedal. Where the Lil Ed is the mini version of the V2 improved and refined BoostDrive follow-up - the Session Drive Edition. We then have the excellent Billini beautifully textured Germanium Drive, and searing upper octave fuzz - the Quiggling Octofuzz - all sound excellent!

I had long since identified 3 Caroline Guitar Co pedals that I really wanted, but as is sometimes the case, I wanted special editions of each - and I was just waiting for the right ones to materialise!

So this particular Nordvang Custom Trio / Trifecta brings to mind another recent brand revamp - in terms of the somewhat similar King Tone Curved / Recessed Series of pedals that I featured back in April.
