Pedal Jungle (UK) has ten custom black enclosure with white knobs Montreal Assembly Count to 5 3‑Mode Digital Sampler Delay pedals available on its webstore; these colourways weren’t widely sold in the UK previously. As of 2026-07-13, the price was £219.99.
Controls include Dry‑Wet MIX; DIR 1/2/3 (read head playback direction/speed); LEN B (Buffer Length) / LEN S (resampled slices length); FBK (Feedback)/RAND; Q (Quantize) and E (Expression) with mode-dependent functions. M Mode: Mode 1 fixed buffer; Mode 2 up to 4s sampled and played in shorter random segments; Mode 3 up to 8s with up to 3 read heads.
Multi‑Colour LED, left Soft Footswitch behaviors and a latching bypass are detailed in the unit. A 'Transcendence' Mode Global Modifier is available by holding the soft footswitch when bypassed; the pedal is released in small batches and the article notes prior imports and charges.
Pedal Jungle brings you a unique colourway edition of the legendary Montreal Assembly Count to 5 : 3-Mode Digital Sampler Delay. I picked up a classic original blue edition of this pedal back in 2018. Its tiny size conceals a fairly substantial feature set, and this was one of the very original glitchy delays.
I’m not aware of these ever being for sale in the uk previously - where we get the further bonus here of a unique custom black enclosure with white knobs colourway.
The Count to 5 is released in small batches, and I was never quick enough to secure one from source - I eventually grabbed one on Reverb.com. This is a classic of its kind of sure. I keep hoping that Montreal Assembly will eventually make a stereo edition of this - which would be more handy for my own board.
Controls - Dry-Wet MIX, DIR 1 (1st read head playback direction / speed), LEN B (Buffer Length) / LEN S (resampled slices length), DIR 2 (2n read head direction / speed), FBK (Feedback) / RAND (randomness of sample slice playback), DIR 3 (3rd read head direction / speed. M Mode : Mode 1 - Fixed Buffer / Mode 2 - Up to 4 seconds of sound recorded and played back in shorter segments randomly / Mode 3 - Up to 8 seconds recorded and played back by up to 3 read heads, Q Quantize - Mode 1 Q Up is Trigger Threshold, Mode 1 Down is LPF on FBK / Mode 2 Q Up/Down changes Quantization mode for DIR 1 / Mode 3 Q Up is step modulation for Dir 1, 2, 3, Q Down is playback volume for DIR 1, 2, 3, E is Expression - target DIR 1 / LEN B / FBK, Multi-Colour LED - generally Blue for Playback, Red for Recording etc. Left Soft Footswitch : Mode 1 - Hold to mute write head and loop current buffer, Tap to trigger and set read head distance / Mode 2 - Hold to sample up to 4 seconds, release to begin playback, overdub new sample / Mode 3 - same as for Mode 2 - with longer sample, Latching Bypass Footswitch.
Note - Additional ’Transcendence’ Mode Global Modifier is available via holding down Soft Footswitch when device is bypased - this gives you variations of those 3 core Modes..
This is one of those delays everyone should own, and the price of admission of just £219.99 is actually great value. Back in the day I had to import mine and pay additional charges in the process. I would have leapt at this opportunity then. I expect these 10 will go very rapidly indeed! Available right now on the Pedal Jungle Webstore. You can’t sleep on this one!
