Key Points

Big Joe's Li2 and ISO4 Power Box rechargeable 9V isolated supplies. I use the Li2 on my desk for pedal updates and photographing LEDs.

ISO4: four 9V isolated outputs (total 750mA), 26.6Wh (7,189mAh) battery — 2–6 hour gig runtime. As of the Easter Sale, the price was £120 (normal $199/£169); two units remained at Andertons.

Board setup: 2×Cioks 8, 1×Cioks 4, 2×NUX Zeus, 2×Strymon Zuma — 58 isolated outputs, 32,200mA total. Li2 PB-109 priced @ $159/£120. As of listing, the Isn'tses Chernobylizer was £159.25 with a protective perspex base on Etsy. Li2 demo exists; no ISO4 demo yet.

I’ve had my Big Joe Li2 Power Box for a number of years now, it lives on my desk mostly - and I use it to power pedals that I need to update via laptop etc. I typically photograph my pedals with their LED’s on - so my Power Box is used for that too.

I rarely use it on my actual board - as that currently has 2 x Cioks 8’s, 1 x Cioks 4, 2 x NUX Zeus, and 2 x Strymon Zuma - for a total of 58 isolated outputs and a total current deliver of 32,200mA. There have been a few odd moments when the Power Box came in handy on the board too. It’s essentially my handy emergency power service.

And when Andertons recently discounted the new ISO4 to £120 from £169 for its Easter Sale - it made total sense to get a second unit. Also as I've recently acquired a Chernobylizer Noise Synth from Isn'tses (as below) - it's a perfect power source for that too!

The ISO4 doubles the number of 9V outputs to 4 - for a total current delivery of 750mA across the 4 Isolated Outputs, and a total battery capacity of 26.6 Watt-Hours (7,189mAh milliamp-hours) which should support a 2-6 hour gig with relative ease!

The ISO4 is typically priced @ $199 / £169 - and is another essential tool in my pedal arsenal! For now you can also still get the Li2 PB-109 - priced @ $159 / £120. So I essentially grabbed and ISO4 for the price of an Li2 - only 2 of those remain in stock at Andertons!

There's no demo yet of the new ISO4 - but there is one of the older Li2 - which I also own - as below :
