Freqscene Effects releases intriguing Humans Resonant Filter Wah-Drive with Clean Blend

Freqscene Effects’ Humans Resonant Filter Wah-Drive blends a Cocked-Wah-style resonant filter with a clean/wet balance. Controls: Resonant Filter Sweep (Cocked-Wah!), Level, Drive, Gain I/II, and Clean Blend.
It covers sounds ranging from Mick Ronson to QOTSA depending on Sweep and Clean Blend; the Drunk Beaver Forest Song uses a resonant filter similarly. The author notes having a couple vaguely similar pedals but finds the Humans’ mix particularly appealing.
Only 10 White Edition units were made (all gone); Batch 1 is sold out. The Black Edition is on general release and listed on the Freqscene Effects Webstore at $169.
Freqscene has evolved a pretty cool new Drive pedal - which combines elements of Cocked-Wah and the balancing of Clean and Wet / Distorted Signals. The Gain switch gives you 2 levels of gain - in a lower / higher fashion.
The Humans Drive covers a variety of sounds - including of course elements of Mick Ronson and QOTSA - depending on where you set the Sweep and Clean Blend.
The Drunk Beaver Forest Song uses a resonant filter to similar great effect. And I have at lease a couple of pedals that do a vaguely similar thing. While the mix of elements on the Humans makes that confection particularly appealing.
