AC Noises unveils its Continua Stereo Sample-Repeater / Glitch / Modifier / Multi-FX - in the same pedal format as its recent Ricorda Granular Reverb

I am a huge fan of Continua’s predecessor - the Ricorda Granular Reverb, and will undoubtedly love this new one just as much - while I already have an existing list of prior commitments, and the Continua will need to wait for its turn! As I’ve only just recently landed the OBNE Parting / Purr-ting which occupies fairly similar territory - on my #48 Slot. That pedal needs to complete its innings, where the next one due on that slot is the Bleak District Orbits, and then I will be looking towards landing this Continua. Alas I have something of a backlog on at the moment - and feel the need to give every pedal its due time to shine!
There’s a similar situation with my main Delay Workstation - where I’ve just recently ordered the Chase Bliss Big Time - just ahead of Strymon announcing its V2 / MX Timeline Delay! The Timeline will need to wait also!
The Continua has much to recommend it - while I feel that the 2-Preset switching could have been accomplished in a somewhat more elegant manner. There’s no doubting the potency of this device - and how great its output can sound!
For me it also overlaps with Chase Bliss’s celebrated Mood to a degree - AC Noises call their pedal a ’Sampler’, and I’ve extended that to Sample-Repeater - which is basically the same as a Micro-Looper - this definitely fits into that sort of glitchy Modulated / Modified Micro-Looper category.
