EarthQuaker Devices revives its 2-transistor Bellows Fuzz Driver, now as a Limited 1,000 Run Mini Legacy Reissue

The Bellows Fuzz Driver was first manufactured from 2016 to 2019, I actually acquired mine in 2020 -  a year after it had been discontinued, while there were still a fair amount in distribution - I bought mine from Andertons at the time.

It’s a very simple 2-Transitor, Single Diode circuit - which I place in my ’Fuzzy-Drive’ category - where when you crank it - it gives you that sort of overblown / console style fuzz. A really neat Fuzzy Textures drive with significant range - easy to dial in and deploy with just those 2 controls.

I quite like that EQD is releasing Mini editions of its pedals, and for me - some make more sense to own, and for others I’m not sure I need to double down. I’m undecided on this one, it’s certainly not a major priority for me - more of a nice-to-have currently.

I preferred the ’flames’ artwork on the original, but don’t mind the Bellows illustration. This is also available in a Sweetwater special Black on Teal edition, while the Red and White pictured above is the standard worldwide colourway.

The Bellows Legacy Reissue Mini is supposedly limited to 1,000 units, it goes for $129 in the USA, and £138 in the UK. It’s a decent fuzzy-driver for sure - where I have other preferences too, but it’s worth a consideration!
