Jamie Stillman has a real knack for finding interesting artist collaborations - I’m not sure any brand does this sort of thing as often or well as EQD do.
I am personally a big fan of James Murphy and his LCD Soundsystem - and have followed that band right from the start. So it’s cool to be able to get a part of its signature sound now - courtesy of this Chelsea Low End Driver.

What we have here is a really simple and elegant low-end accented Fuzz / Fuzz Driver - replicating that celebrated LCD Soundsystem Bass Fuzz sound that appears on so many of their songs.
It’s a really cool 3-knob device with an additional Tone-defeat switch - and sounds pretty impressive. I’m not entirely clear whether this is intended more for Bass Players. While I typically really like gain pedals with something extra in the low-end / bass department.
The Chelsea Low End Fuzz Driver is already in distribution in the USA, and imminent on this side of the pond. It retails for $179 in the USA, and will be £189 when it lands in the UK - at dealers like Andertons - who list availability for the 12th of this month.
I definitely want one of these, but have a number of high priority pedals due for March - so not currently clear if this will happen this month or next for me!
Another cool EQD pedal for sure - this one should do well.
