The Cube range of Amps is somewhat unique as it straddles both Boss and Roland brands - which is very unusual. Moreover the selection of amps is variously marked out by a mix of Boss, Cube and Roland decals.
Back in 2022 some of the formerly Roland Cube Amps switched to Boss branding - and I thought all those amp models would eventually transition to Boss - all bar the Jazz Chorus, Blues Cubes, and some of the PA type speakers - but Roland has held onto some of those Cube Models too - which could be construed as a little confusing. I’m not aware of another series of proprietary same named Models - which straddle 2 different brands. I would think eventually there would need to be some universality here - as I don’t really get why some are labelled Boss, some Cube and some Roland - surely the whole family of Cubes should sit within just a single brand?
There’s no questioning the quality here though - as the Cube Street Mini is incredibly well appointed with all manner of smart features - including an adapter for it to sit on top of a Mic Stand, as well as a rear Retractable Tilt Stand. It benefits from a similar 2.1 style of sound system as the Lava Studio Amp - so you have 2 Mid + High Frequency Tweeters, alongside a Bass Woofer. This amp is designed to be the ultimate potent portable speaker - which can be used across a variety of instruments.
