John Snyder and crew have created one of the most striking pedals of the year - which will supposedly only be available from the Merch Stand of long-term Post-Hardcore Collaborators Touché Amoré who are on a worldwide tour from April 17th - taking in various locations in the USA, then Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, The Netherlands, and 3 dates in the UK - Wembley Arena on June 24th, and Outbreak Festival - Stretford and Manchester on the 27th & 28th. With the tour currently culminating in São Paulo on September 12th.
Controls - Volume, Tone, Gain, Focus (Mids / Low-cut), Boost, Drive Footswitch, Boost Footswitch.

Emily Hokins has already managed to sneak into EAE HQ to snag one for herself - those are the perks of friendship and proximity! Would that we were all so fortunate!
This is one of the best looking pedals of the year so far, and for me - a little reminiscent of my friend Nic at Empty Head Effects' Output - particularly his Big Talker pedal! Which also features somewhat unusual 3D-printed square-ish knobs.

The Tour Edition Limelight is worth having just for its aesthetics - and I feel some of those will surely be trading at exorbitant prices a little later in the year. I would dearly love to have one for my own reference collection - but I feel that is a nigh impossible task. I don't know John quite well enough yet to call in any favours, and alas I don't know anyone at Touché Amoré at all - so I've already resigned myself to disappointment here.
While I will always celebrate great pedal design - however unobtanium it might be. Props to all involved in this project - they should also do a version in dark green - and call it the 'Cutting Board Edition'!

Here follows a demo below for those not familiar with this Opamp Drive + Boost Pedal, which is generally available in stock edition for $249 and equivalent- including on the EAE Webstore! And for £239 from Joe's Pedals in the UK!
