I so love the Spaceman Effects White Light Dealer Editions - that I had to add another Rumblefuzz II to the capsule collection!

Key Points

Added a White Light Rumblefuzz II to the capsule after chasing Atlas IV and Apollo VIIb (shipped via Cream City Music and Axe and You Shall Receive). The Dealer White Light livery (white-out body, cyan/teal LEDs) is highlighted; friend Scott at Axe and You Shall Receive supplied the Rumblefuzz II.

Rumblefuzz I was Spaceman’s first pedal (2009); Henry Kaiser owns #001. The reissue Rumblefuzz II is described as a heavy-duty fuzz.

Collection: now 26 Spaceman Effects pedals (23 distinct varieties due to duplicates). Notable models include Apollo VII/VIIb, Atlas IV, Aphelion, Nebula, Gemini, Sputnik, Titan II. Explorer is effectively MKII.

Considering the Wow Signal Alien Fuzz Communicator and an Aphelion reissue; collection is otherwise up-to-date.

For me - these Dealer special White Light editions - are some of the prettiest varieties Spaceman has released to-date - with the white-out / snow-blind livery and striking cyan / teal LED’s - just gorgeous. I was missing the Atlas IV and Apollo VIIb - and Cream City Music and Axe and You Shall Receive were enormously helpful in getting those shipped to me in short order. I then spotted that my friend Scott at Axe and You Shall Receive also had a White Light Rumblefuzz II remaining - and I just had to have that too - even though I already owned a version of that.

The Rumblefuzz I was Spaceman’s very first pedal release in 2009, and my friend Henry Kaiser owns the very first #001 edition of that. I was chasing the Rumblefuzz I for so many years - but there were so few about - and the prices were wholly ridiculous - I hate to think how much Henry’s first edition is worth. In any case I thought it quite fitting to have a second White Light edition for such a momentous pedal - and it’s a pretty thunderously great distinct heavy-duty fuzz just as worthwhile in the reissue format!

I really wanted to match my celebrate Team Red Trifecta visual - with an equivalent White Light one - which is now accomplished - leading to an updated Capsule visual too as below - where I now have 26 Spaceman Effects Pedals as follows :

I own duplicates versions of the Delta II, Explorer, and Rumblefuzz II - so 23 varieties overall - where I tend to massively favour fuzzes, overdrives and modulations.

The Explorer is effectively a MKII also - as there was a previous larger format Explorer Deluxe model!

I'm still considering the Wow Signal Alien Fuzz Communicator, and hoping they reissue the Aphelion Harmonic Overdrive at some stage in an improved format! (more clipping?)

I'm wholly satisfied with what I have from Spaceman at the moment, and am not really currently seeking further editions. There is a yellow pairing there that could do with a 3rd - but there aren't any suitable targets for me in that area.

I consider my Spaceman Capsule collection fully up-to-date now!
