Spaceman Effects rolls out a More Aggressive Silicon Variant of one of my favourite Fuzz Pedals of All Time - the Sputnik I!

This one is a total no-brainer shoe-in for me.

It’s essentially the same circuit layout as the original Sputnik I - but with NOS Silicon Transistors onboard this time around - so should be a little more aggressive.

Controls - Level (Volume), Scan (Scramble/Corruption), Range (Fuzz Gain), Drift/Sync (Engage Scan), Calibrate (Tone), Filter Engage : Engage = Bass Cut + Mid Scoop.

I’ve covered the Sputnik I so many times on this site - there’s nothing more to be said about this great sounding 3 x Transistor Circuit!

Pricing is $50 less than the original Germanium Sputnik I - with each of the new ones priced at $299. You can preorder the White, Drab Olive and Black Editions on the main Spaceman Effects Webstore. While the Blue Edition will only be available at select Dealers! Actually the Drab Olive is also Limited - with unique knobs, and a smooth lens cap - where I will always prefer the standard faceted LED crystal cap.
