Both these Transistor Overdrives benefit from 6 controls - for the ultimate shaping of your output.
The Teeth MKII X is a Low-Gain Overdrive, while the Triage Deluxe is a High-Headroom Mid-Gain Preamp.
Both these devices have a ’Breath’ control - which adjusts the high frequencies / Air.
Each one of these targets slightly different territory - where my jam is more the Triage. I own the original 3-knob version of that - while these newer variants double down on the number of controls - and are more granular and expansive.
The Triage Deluxe is for sure on my acquisitions wishlist - I’ve still to decide if I would get adequate use out of the Teeth MKII X - both of these are exceptional overdrives. And they both feature that really cool Zinc arcade-style footswitch - which lends a very particular aesthetic to this format - it’s very distinctive.
I already have and love the Berkeley Uni-Vibe - which is about to be discontinued (key components are no longer available) - Tom put a the last few of those up for sale recently on the Horrothia Reverb.com Store. I also have the superb Lütz Full-Range Fuzz, and the earlier version of the Triage. Each of those is available from the Reverb.com store.
The Triage Deluxe will be my 4th Horrothia pedal for sure!
The visual features the core standard colourway for each!
You can read up more on the Teeth MKII X and Triage Deluxe on the Horrothia Website.
And both are currently available on Horrothia’s Reverb.com Store.

Controls - Output HPF, Gain Stage, Clipping : Soft > Hard, Saturation, Breath (), Volume.
A beautifully elegantly textured Low Gain Transistor Overdrive with expansive controls.
This is a well loved take on the Low Gain format - well worth considering if you're a fan of the more subtle styles of overdrive.
Note that no new demo exists for this pedal - and so I've referenced an older model for the above demo!
Controls - Clip Off / Clip On, Headroom : 6V > 16V, Input HPF : 20Hz > 1kHz, Gain, Breath, Output.
The Triage Deluxe doubles down on the number of controls compared to my original edition. This is a very worthy upgrade of that and a pedal that I will seek to land as a priority. While January has gotten off to a somewhat furious start - and my budget for the month has already been blown - otherwise I would have looked to have landed this one already.
It should happen soon enough - I really like the stock colourway - and will likely look to acquire one of those all-red ones - while Tom always produces a variety of colourways - and also does those metal-punch label editions too!
Note that no new demo exists for this pedal - and so I've referenced an older model for the above demo!
