This was one of the pre-Christmas release which occurred wile I was on holiday.

Essentially Summer School Electronics and Supercool Pedals each contribute a side to the Smoking In The Boys Room circuit - with Summer School responsible for the DS-1 Distortion take, and with Supercool handling the Chorus.

Controls - DS-1 Distortion } Level, Drive, Tone, Distortion Footswitch; Analog Chorus } Rate, Depth, Chorus Footswitch; ORDER } Distortion First / Chorus First.

You get classic Kurt Cobain tones here - with that classic combination of DS-1 and Chorus.

I have a number of Kurt Cobain associated pedals - in original and modified editions. So I’m not sure if this one is particularly for me, as I have that territory covered in a number of ways already .

It’s a really cool collaboration though in a reasonably compact enclosure. It really excels at delivering those Nirvana tones.

The styling is more Summer School than Supercool - where I typically prefer the styling of the latter brand. But I really don’t mind this.

I’ve still to fully decide if this is something for me - it’s certainly a cool take!

These are available courtesy of the Summer School Electronics Webstore - where preorders are up for Batch 2 - for $280. The Smoking In The Boys Room is also available courtesy of select International Dealers, including FX Pedal Planet in the UK - where it goes for £279!
