Frost Giant Electronics delivers a 3-in-1 Mourningstar Advanced Overdrive - honed for metal players

Metal Players have for years been using mid-hump overdrives into the front of their high gain amps - and Frost Giant has kind of gone to town here - in delivering 3 different voicings for maximum impact. Takes on the TS9 and SD-1, as well as a 3rd supercharged ’Mourning Star’ variant which ups things to another level!

I feel this is a really great mid-hump overdrive on its own - while it’s seemingly mostly been honed for spiking the front of high gain amps.

Overall it’s a really attractive proposition and highly appealing on the aesthetics side. This is an interesting advancement on Screamer and SD-1 types too - with that extensive 3-Band EQ.

The Mourning Star Advanced Overdrive goes for $189 and equivalent on the Frost Gian Webstore - it’s very decent value, and well worth considering over and above the usual suspects!
