My good friend Jamie Muir has a new very uniquely themed Active 3-Band EQ Preamp style Overdrive - bringing the summer sunshine to these cooler autumn months. A DOD250 inspired overdrive with a pretty striking 80’s Australian Surf Culture Theme.
"Developed in collaboration with Blood Brothers Brewing, The Cutback launches alongside the Cutback Aussie Style Ginger Beer — a limited-edition brew sharing the pedal’s name, design, and adventurous spirit. Together, the two celebrate the art of sound, sun, and brewing with a shared sense of surf-inspired fun."

I collect extended-range DOD250 circuits - so this one’s right up my street!
I’m a little behind on my Super Cool Pedal acquisitions - as the Triniphase is still outstanding. Jamie should really send me a pedal every now and again - as I write so much better from first-hand experience.
I would certainly be looking to add this Cutback Overdrive to the reference collection - and hopefully it comes with a pack of Blood Brothers Aussie Style Ginger Beer! Albeit I can imagine that’s kind of tricky to ship between continents. This is really a 2-pair set - and one on its own doesn’t really represent this collaboration in full - ideally you should be sipping on the Aussie Style Ginger Beer - while exploring this overdrive! Surely at least one tinny!
As of my writing this I could not find a listing yet of the Ginger Beer - I will link it here as soon as it materialises. Here’s the Cutback Ginger Beer - @ $3.33 per each can of 473ml!
Pricing is $199 for the Cutback Pedal from the Super Cool Pedals Webstore - and hopefully the beer is a little less!
I look forward to sampling both!
