Readers will know that I’m a huge fan of Sinvertek’s N5 / MGAT series - where I own each of the key editions released to date - since 2017.

This is the 3rd and ultimate edition of the MGAT-1 MIAB circuit - which retains the same topology as the other 2 MGAT-1’s - but slightly repurposes some of those controls - and aligns them more with specific Marshall Amp Profiles.

Controls - Volume, Marshall Amp Frequency Character : JCM / JTM / SLP & JVM, Gain, Low Frequency Response : Full / Standard / More, Sinvertek Real Amp Abstraction Output Type : TO.DE Type 1 Preamp / Direct & Speaker Out / TO.DE Type 2 Pedal into Clean Amp, Gain Structure : Low / Standard / High, Tone Era : JCM / Plexi / JVM, Presence, Channel Select : CH1 Plexi / CH2 JCM800 / CH3 JCM2000 and JVM, Treble, Mid, Channel 2 Saturation : More / Stock / Most, Channel 3 Saturation : More / Stock / Most, Bass.

So you have a series of switches which help you pin-point specific eras and amp types, and a number of fully variable knobs to shape the output to your preferences.

I already thought that the MGAT-1 Golden Era was the best possible Marshall voicing across all those different output profiles!

The SRAA MGAT-1 EVO takes you even more elegantly through the gears from Clean Marshall Tones - through Plexi and JCM800 varieties and up to super high gain JVM levels.

These have long been my favourite 'Amp-in-a-box' varieties - they really have extraordinary amp-like dynamics and fidelity.

For all those who bemoan the prowess of Pedal Preamps - these wholly challenge that convention.

The slightly complex control topology can put off some players - but for those of us who have properly experienced these pedals - these are every way the proper substitute for those legendary amp types - and you get all the key flavours in one uniquely constructed preamp pedal.

You really need to experience these to understand their promise and prowess - they are every way exceptional.

And the quicker you order one the more mojo those core components will be!

If you want one - you need to send an email to Sales Manager Tina - at officialsales@sinvertek.com.

The Great Era Edition is slightly more Mojo than the Abstraction Edition - both are super limited! You can read up more on the Sinvertek website.

I paid for my Great Era Edition on December 17th - and it's due to land within 6 weeks of that - so near the start of February - give or take a few days!

There are obviously no demos as of yet - I will reference the previous model below therefore - and will swap that one out - once a demo for the new one is out!
