Chinese brand Gervana unleashes intriguing and expansive Wuyin Multi-Muff Fuzz

Chinese brand Gervana has released the Wuyin Multi-Muff Fuzz, a visually striking jade-green enclosure that packs a very flexible Big Muff–style fuzz into a compact pedal. It’s currently available on AliExpress (two listings, all-in price around £145 including delivery) and at least one listing on Reverb.com, making it an attractive price for the feature set.
The pedal’s two main selectors, VOICE and MODEL, each offer three positions, yielding nine unique combinations for a wide range of Big Muff and fuzz tones. Controls include Volume, Low Cut Filter On/Off, Sustain, Tone, Balance (Impedance), plus VOICE (Green Muff / Red|Black Muff / Triangle Muff) and MODEL (Big Muff / Gervana Original / Vintage Vox MKIII).
Sonically this is one of the more expansive Big Muff variants I’ve heard; the Mike Hermans demo is a good reference and highlights a particularly sweet character in many settings. One omission I noticed is a dedicated mid-sweep control—many favorite Muffs benefit from a mids control for cutting through mixes, and that would have been a welcome addition.
Overall, the Wuyin Multi-Muff Fuzz looks like a capable and versatile pedal at a reasonable price. I plan to pick one up, possibly later this month or next.

There are currently 2 listings on Ali Express - with an all-in price of £145 and equivalent (including delivery), also one listed on Reverb.com. It’s still an attractive price-tag for such a capable pedal.
The 2 potent controls are VOICE and MODEL which each give you 3 options - and 3 x 3 in combination - for one of the most expansive Big Muff Fuzz / Distortion available anywhere.

I would have liked an additional Mid-sweep control here as most of my favourite Muffs have a Mids Control.
While there is much to like here. The Mike Hermans demo is pretty decent - and this sounds like a particularly sweet Big Muff variant.

I will definitely be coming for one of these at some stage, I’ve yet to decide on the priority - but could be later this month or next month even!
