Ibanez collaborates with Citizen on Custom Limited Tube Screamer Chronograph Watch - inspired by the TS808HWV2 Hand-Wired Overdrive Pro pedal

So Citizen isn’t the first to collaborate with guitar gear manufacturers - there have been various Boss watches over the years, and in 2024 Seiko collaborated with Fender on 70th Anniversary Stratocaster variants - in a few colourways.

And now it’s the turn of Citizen - who have made a custom Tsuno Chrono Line Limited Edition inspired by the Hand-Wired TS808HWV2 Tube Screamer - with the dial colour being spot on - and the way the 3 dials are labelled per the pedal’s knobs!

This is a relatively budget Citizen line - featuring a standard Quartz Movement.

The details from the original announcement read as follows :

"We will be releasing a limited edition model, the "TSUNO CHRONO Custom Tube Screamer Limited," featuring a vibrant green dial inspired by the TS808HWV2, with only 500 units available in Japan.

Available at music stores nationwide and the Ibanez LIFESTYLE store."

So the statement says 500 watches will be available in Japan, while no indication is give as to whether there will be additional international allocations. You get a lot of these kinds of limited edition releases - which are typically limited to Japanese customers alone! So it’s time to call a friend if you’re interested in one!
