One of Brian Wampler’s very best pedals - this combines a Marshall Silver Jubilee Overdrive voicing with a circa MESA/Boogie Mark IIC/+ Distortion voicing - both blisteringly good!
You get the classic 3 controls per side, each side also gets its own ’Character’ switch - which for the Overdrive side is a Higher Gain Range / Gain Structure switch, and for the Distortion side delivers more Brightness. You also get a central switch to select the order of Effects.
Controls - DS / Mesa Mark IIC/+ Side } Level, Tone, Gain, Character (Brightness), DS Footswitch, OD / Silver Jubilee Side } Level, Tone, Gain, Character (Gain Range), OD Footswitch, ORDER } OD>DS / DS>OD.
Funnily enough - per the advertising this is pretty much a perfect pedal in looks and output - those gold accented knobs look glorious on that richly sparkly dark green enclosure hue - what a striking pedal!

And the output entirely matches the visual appeal - with beautifully richly textured Overdrive and Distortion - which each sounds instantly like its source amp. I expect these to do very well!
It works brilliantly with all controls at 2 o'c - the classic Mick Taylor settings! The Character switches are so subtle - it's almost impossible to discern a difference most of the time! I tend to just leave those in the default left-hand position. You get a fantastic combination at those values too - no need to further adjust the dials - so a perfect 3-in-1 gain-stager really!
I'm a huge fan of Brian's - particularly of his gain pedals - and this one was acquired very rapidly indeed!
I acquired my Golden Jubilee from Andertons for £239, where Americans can buy direct from the Wampler site - for $239.97.
It has the same soft-action footswitches introduced on the previous TCP model!
