In my recent Klone Roundup I stated that I hadn’t acquired the Germanium Tumnus Mini - because of the Golden Horse and my close friendship with Decibelics’ Guillem Vilademunt, but also because I already had a number of proper Germanium Diode Klones - and probably did not need another.
The original Tumnus Mini was my very first Klone - back in December of 2016, I then picked up the Tumnus Deluxe in February of 2018, which came after my acquisition of the EHX JHS-Modded Soulfood, and Foxpedal Kingdom Combo V2. So the first 2 Tumni were my first and fourth Klone pedals - and I still have a very soft spot for that pair.

In fact the only one of these was acquired at the very point of release - which was the Germanium Tumnus Deluxe - in July of 2024.
I feel each of these 4 is worthy in its own right - the Release and [Acquisition] Dates for each were as follows :
And while I quite like the Mini Tumni - I prefer the Deluxe Editions - as I'm better able to dial in my perfect tones with those! Overall the Germanium Deluxe Model is my favourite here - it has a slightly superior output profile with a richer grittier texture and more harmonics than the standard editions.
I feel that if you're into the Klone sound - then the Wampler Tumni are definitely prime contenders for you. They also have a little more in the low-end register - so their output profile feels a little more rounded. The Mini Tumnus keeps winning the Andertons' Klone head-to-heads - it's won a few of those up against some very stiff competition!
For the mini format - the Decibelics Golden Horse is sill the GOAT - while the Germanium Tumnus Mini is pretty close!
Both my original Tumni came in before the watershed - where the estate of CS Lewis / CS Lewis Foundation (Narnia Books) asked Brian Wampler to not use the Tumnus graphic any more (as of July 2019) - so instead the pedal ended up with a sort of elaborate clock-face style graphic - which you also see on the Germanium variants.
The Germanium ones are well since sold off - so my Germanium Mini is a pristine secondhand one - for which I didn't pay too high a premium - of course I would have been better buying it at its time of release! The Standard Tumni are of course still in plentiful supply - including on the Wampler Webstore!
I will leave you with a demo of each of them to celebrate the 'Full House' moment.
