I originally featured this pedal on the site back in January of 2023 - so it’s been on the cards for a while! I obviously need to juggle a lot of priorities all the time - and some pedals unfortunately fall through the cracks momentarily - while I mostly manage to recover them at a later stage!
This Arigato is my 4th Caroline pedal, and I love it so much that I’m very tempted to pick up Philippe’s other 2 modulations - the Parabola Tremolo, and Somersault Lo-Fi Modulator / Chorus.
The Arigato is a beautifully realised phaser - which delivers classic 4-Stage Phase Shifting, Wobbly Vibrato and a really juicy Vibe Mod - which makes this an incredibly 3-in-1 Modulator.
If you do the Boss thing and start with everything in the middle / up positions - it already sounds utterly superb. The main Bypass Footswitch is smartly Momentary and Latching - depending on how long you press down on it. And the second Footswitch Maxes Out the Speed parameter - so cool for stabs / flurries.
All 3 core voicings - Phaser, Vibrato and Uni-Vibe (Mod) sound superb - and the pedal is supremely easy to dial in. Really a perfect execution as far as I’m concerned.

Controls - Wet Mix, Intensity, Phase Mode / Vibe Mod switch, Triangle / Square Waveform switch, Feedback, Speed, Bypass Footswitch (Momentary & Latching), Havoc / Max Speed Footswitch.
I've included the recommended settings above - as they cover all the key sounds brilliantly. You can't go wrong with everything at noon - and then just flip down the Mod switch for some cool Uni-Vibe style action. This pedal sounds so good - so effortlessly!
The Arigato is priced at $219 on the Caroline Guitar Co Webstore, while I acquired mine from No.Tom on Denmark Street - for £200 - props to Andy for helping out!
