The Treasure Chest Dual Modded Overdrive is a collaboration between Funny Little Boxes, Let's Play All, JSA Effects and SoundLad Liverpool, pairing modified Tube Screamer and Klone circuits—originally made by Simon of JSA Effects—and reflecting Matt Webster’s two favourite overdrive/boost pedals.
Each side (Modified Screamer, Modified Klone) offers Gain, Tone, Volume and an independent footswitch; Marc from SoundLad Liverpool helped combine the circuits into a compact enclosure. It's adjacent to the Anasounds Sandman in tone.
As of 2026-07-13, the price was £99. Andy will be at the Birmingham Guitar Show at the end of this month.
So what we have here is essentially Matt Webster’s 2 favourite overdrive / boost pedals - which were originall made by Simon of JSA Effects. These are modified editions of Tube Screamer and Klone circuits, and have been combined here for the first time in a singularly potent pedal.
I actually have a few Klone-Screamer types including the Anasounds Sandman - which is a long-term favourite of mine.
This Treasure Chest is adjacent to the Sandman, while with the help of Marc from SoundLad Liverpool - the circuits have been combined into a compact enclosure.

This is a format I’m well acquainted with - and this is a fantastic miniaturisation - which combines those 2 most famous of boos circuit into that diminutive compact enclosure.
As always - this is a £99 pedal - which is absolutely superb value from Funny Little Boxes - 2 circuits for the price of 1 budge pedals - what a killer proposition!
