Freqscene Effects releases intriguing Humans Resonant Filter Wah-Drive with Clean Blend

Freqscene has evolved a pretty cool new Drive pedal - which combines elements of Cocked-Wah and the balancing of Clean and Wet / Distorted Signals. The Gain switch gives you 2 levels of gain - in a lower / higher fashion. 

The Humans Drive covers a variety of sounds - including of course elements of Mick Ronson and QOTSA - depending on where you set the Sweep and Clean Blend.

The Drunk Beaver Forest Song uses a resonant filter to similar great effect. And I have at lease a couple of pedals that do a vaguely similar thing. While the mix of elements on the Humans makes that confection particularly appealing.

Only 10 of the White Edition were made (all gone of course), in fact all of Batch 1 seems to be sold out now. While the Humans Black Edition is on general release - and there will be another batch soon enough - where those will soon be on the Freqscene Effects Webstore at a very reasonable $169.

There may be one of these in my future - while I’ve yet to assign a priority!
