So this Fluff Drive is evidently Screamer derived but heavily modded for mostly going in front of High Gain Amps. It’s similar in scope to the Drunk Beaver Vatra and Frost Giant Mourningstar I recently covered on this site.

It’s interesting that Warm Audio bring out another Screamer derived circuit so soon after their also ’green’ Tube Squealer which is also another relative expansive circuits. I always wonder about the degree of cannibalism that happens - when you have 2 pedals largely in the same genre.

Controls - Drive, Level, Gate, Mid Enhance, Tone, Pre / Off / Post Mid Enhance, Boost : Low Boost / Classic.

This is surely a familiar trope, where you get some handy options here - including the Mid Enhance, Noise Gate, and Low Boost.

It’s a pretty compelling offering, where the Highwind Dire Wolf, and KHDK Ghoul Screamer are also in a similar category - as is the Electric Eye Audio Mud Killer. There really is no shortage of options for Amp-Driving Overdrives Boost - while the Fluff Drive is a compelling proposition.

For me personally - I would probably lean slightly more into the 3-Voice Squealer - but we shall see. Players have plenty of options in this area - and this is a very decent candidate for sure.

It goes for $199 and equivalent on the Warm Audio Webstore, where the Tube Squealer is at $149. Both are widely available at International dealers - including the big 3!
