Back in 2003, Dan Coggin’s Dinosaural created a silicon transistor circuit which sort of combined elements of a Tube Sceamer and a Tone Bender - and hence the ’Tube Bender’ moniker. I believe the earliest models were in Silver sort of 1590BB style enclosures, and the later ones were in Black.
From 2003-2007 a total of around 150 were made. And in the intervening years several takes on that circuit emerged - including the Aion FX Wyvern in 2020, and the Drunk Beaver T-Rex a year later - based on that Aion trace. That T-Rex version labelled the additional 4th control as ’Shift’ with the options - Scoop / Flat / Deep, while this latest evolution Dino Drive has Modern / Flat / Stock options.
Dino Controls - Volume, Tone, Drive, Shift : Modern / Flat / Stock.
Vitalii describes the Voznesensk Dino Drive as "takes everything you love about our T-Rex pedal—an elusive, highly sought-after circuit—and elevates it for the modern pedalboard."

At its core, the Dino Drive is a meticulous recreation of the ultra-rare Dinosaural Tube Bender (originally designed by Dan Coggins of Lovetone), retaining the unique transistor gain stages and signal clipping that deliver an incredibly versatile range from a sweet, light drive to a rich, mid-gain fuzz and distortion.
To modernize this legendary schematic, Vitalii has taken it a step further by implementing crucial improvements to the power supply section, ensuring a cleaner, more reliable performance with lower noise - so that the pure, responsive tone of this rare boutique circuit can truly shine without compromise.
There are 3 x NOS Motorola BC546B and 1x Motorola 2N3906 transistors onboard for the drive circuit.
30 of the Voznesensk Dino Drive will be available @ $150 / €150 / 559 PLN from the Drunk Beaver Rocks Webstore - as soon as you see this article go live.
Weirdly there don't seem to be any demos of the original Tube Bender or the rare Drunk Beaver T-Rex, but I have found a demo of the Aion Wyvern clone - as below!
