Mr. Black's excellent Analog Tremolo comes with a really unique 4th 'Robot' formant waveform
So Mr. Black’s new Tremolo is a fairly simple proposition - just 3 controls, and 4 waveforms.
Where the 4th ’Robot’ waveform is a kind of Forman robot-talk type - making those kind of sounds - but in Tremolo modulation format!
Controls - Intense (Depth), Output, Rate, Waveform : Triangle / Square / Sine / Robot (formant).
There’s a real elegance about this device and it definitely imparts unique flavours.
This could easily be someone’s signature tremolo - while there are overall more capable and versatile ones out there.
Mr. Black famously used to make a really cool Mini Harmonic Tremolo - which is still kind of on my list!
The question is do I try to hunt down one of those discontinued Minis, or do I go for one of these Analog Tremolos - both are super appealing for me - time will tell!
