I’m a little late on this one! I did kind of clock these when they were first teased (October 2025!) but only very briefly and in passing - and then quite promptly forgot about them. Where I really love CIOKS Future Power Generation Power Supplies - but I don’t really have much need for these too variants - and I’m not really about shelf-ware.
I personally use 2 x 8’s and a 4 - and have always felt that CIOKS should reissue their DC10 as a Future Power Generation Supply - but they’ve not thought to do that yet - that’s one that I would most definitely use for sure. As is I’m piggy-backing those 3 CIOKS off one of the Strymon Zuma’s!
Part of my mission is to showcase as many pedal brands as possible - and so I use supplies from CIOKS, NUX and Strymon!
In any case I only recalled the Retro Editions of the DC7 and SOL when Henning Pauly, as part of his Poland Guitar Fest coverage, griped that Poul Cioks had not sent him any - despite his many years supporting that brand!
I must say - I’ve supported CIOKS for many a year too - but I’m not really in the market for those particular two supplies - while I would imagine they would be perfect for many of my readers!
It was a nice gesture by Poul to personalise the ones he made for Henning - that was turned around very quickly indeed - as per the below picture!

I would imagine there is a tape capsule format that would work for most of those CIOKS supplies - if you include 4-track, and some of those more unique early video tape formats - like the Philips ones!
Those Limited Retro Editions are still widely available - and I've seen them still at Andertons, Thomann and Sweetwater to name but a few!
Very cool work - Props to Poul and the team! Pricing-wise those are near enough the same price as the standard versions just 5 or 6 credits difference - e.g. for Sweetwater - $294 vs $289, and $219 vs $214!
