JAM Pedals Capsule Collection and Future Targets

Controls - Level, Tone, Gain, Bass Boost Switch : +1 / 0 / +2.

I feel this one is a little under-appreciated, while it's really quite potent and versatile. A little trick on the dial-in sometimes - but still relatively easy to find killer tones. This is an interesting sort of inbetweener fuzz - which doesn't get the respect it deserves! I've alway really liked it!

Controls - D (Depth), Mode : Up Harmonic / Down Amplitude, S (Speed), L (Level), Waveforms : Square / Sinewave / Reverse Sawtooth, M (Mix), Engage footswitch, Tap Tempo / Speed Ramp / x2 Speed. Press and hold both footswitches to change Tao / Speed Mode, and hold down Engage Footswitch on power-up to set default startup mode : On or Off.

This has long been documented as my favourite all-time Harmonic Tremolo, and favourite Tremolo overall. It has such a rich and thick flavour that it's the closest non-uni-vibes will ever get to that uni-vibe throb. The MKII is a definite improvement over the original. This is a perfect full-featured Tremolo with smart attention to detail - my favourite JAM Pedal to date!

Controls - Voice : Scooped / Full, Tone, Clipping : Asymmetrical / Symmetrical, Level, Gain.

A truly fierce, searing octave fuzz - which sounds exceptional on the Full Voice, and with Asymmetrical clipping - one of the best Octafusses out there - everyway fabulous. And I'm lucky to have this in the cool circuit layout, and suede covering Ltd Edition - classic JAM Pedals flavour! I always say that JAM Pedals leans into the fuller and fatter flavour!

Controls - Tone, Clipping : Asymmetrical+ / Symmetrical, Level, Gain, Engage Boost Footswitch, Engage Footswitch, internal Boost trimmer.

A potent Multi-Muff covering both original Triangle and Civil War Muff flavours - mostly controlled by the '+' Clipping Options. One of my favourites for sure - and often featured on this site. I tend to favour the original higher gain Triangle Big Muff Editions.

Controls - Level, Gain, Tone, Clipping : Asymmetrical / Symmetrical, Mid Boos Footswitch, Engage Footswitch, Internal Boost Trimmer.

The second major iteration of Rattler - no longer using LM308 OpAmp variants, but rather JAM Pedals own engineered proprietary OpAmp. It has a slightly smoother output - not as Raspy or garage-punky as its predecessor - but still with plenty of flavour and texture. Starts off a little 1980 Inventions DRV, but quickly ramps up to more gain and aggression. Further aided by the Asymmetrical Clipping and Mid Boost - a great sounding and unique take on that format.

Controls - Tone, Gain Structure : High / Low, Level, Gain.

A really cool leather-clad edition of the MKI Rattler - wrapped around the most glorious of Turret-style circuit arrangements - centred on a Metal Can LM308AH OpAmp. I love this one for its unique look and circuit as much as its output - JAM make some of the very best sounding Rats, and there are aspects of the MKI that I prefer on occasion. This has been on my wishlist for a while - it's a high level target - but quite pricey - and my wishlist is long!

Controls - Mode / Mix : Chorus / Vibrato, Depth, Speed.

I own around 20 Uni-Vibes - a mix of Compact and Mid-Size editions - and this JAM Retrovibe has long been on my Radar. It's the favourite of many players - and has that typical JAM fuller flavour. It doesn't do the ramping / braking think that I so like - but it does sound pretty fantastic. It's still on my wishlist - while not necessarily one of the most versatile or variable  - I will for sure get it eventually!

Controls - Speed.

One of the best sounding 2-Stage Phasers out there - has a wonderful syrupy modulation flavour. It's probably never going to knock the Beetronics Larva off the board, but it's certainly nice to have in the arsenal!

Controls - RIPPLE PHASER } Left Speed, Left Engage Footswitch, WATERFALL CHORUS } Intensity : + Pronounced / - Discrete, Middle Speed, Mode / Mix : Chorus / Vibrato, Depth, Central Speed Multiplier Footswitch, Right Engage Footswitch.

A really cool combination of the Ripple 2-Stage Pahser and Waterfall Analog Chorus / Vibrato. You get an extra central Footswitch for this combo with acts as a Speed Multiplier for the Waterfall. Those two modulation are fantastic takes on those types, while I might be tempted to get the Ripply Fall, rather than individual Ripple and Waterfall - the Ripply Fall delivers a little more!

Controls - Depth, Intensity : - Discrete / + Pronounced, Speed, Mode / Mix : Chorus / Vibrato.

I own over 20 Choruses  - mostly analog BBD varieties - but I've already set aside space for this one more as it's a fantastic take on the classic Chorus. I don't necessarily need it, while it would nicely round out my capsule collection!
