Chinese brand Gervana unleashes intriguing and expansive Wuyin Multi-Muff Fuzz

What we have here is a highly attractive, seemingly enamel accented enclosure in striking jade green colourway. There are currently 2 listings on Ali Express - with an all-in price of £145 and equivalent (including delivery), also one listed on Reverb.com. It’s still an attractive price-tag for such a capable pedal.

The 2 potent controls are VOICE and MODEL which each give you 3 options - and 3 x 3 in combination - for one of the most expansive Big Muff Fuzz / Distortion available anywhere.

Controls - Volume, Low Cut Filter On/Off, Sustain, Tone, Balance (Impedance), VOICE : Green Muff / Red|Black Muff / Triangle Muff, MODEL : Big Muff / Gervana Original / Vintage Vox MKIII.

I would have liked an additional Mid-sweep control here as most of my favourite Muffs have a Mids Control.

While there is much to like here. The Mike Hermans demo is pretty decent - and this sounds like a particularly sweet Big Muff variant.
