Somewhat reminiscent of the JHS 3 Series - we get a new €125 affordable yet high quality compact series of 3-knob, dual-mode pedals - where the range starts off with a pair of potent and versatile modulations. Both the new pedals have the same variable controls and labels, but with distinct Mode legends and specific monikers.
I really like the textured facia here with the subtle lightning motif (PowerBolt) - which further elevates this series above most other affordable ranges - in terms of quality of finish. These certainly don’t look budget - besides the fact that they all sport the same orange knobs. I can understand the economy and efficiency of that - but I would have been tempted to assigned different coloured knobs - as if you have several of these on your board - it will be very difficult to distinguish between them from a standing height.
I really like the look of both of these - and am considering getting them both in, where I would probably change the knobs to be more colour-coded. My knob supplier of choice - ’Love My Switches’ has 22 colourways for those kinds of knobs - where I would use the Ligther Blue ones for the Chorus/Vibe, and the Green or Dark Blue one for the Tremolo!
Both the PowerTrem and PowerVibe are available right now from the Thermion Webstore - where they each go for €125 and equivalent.

Controls - Intensity. Speed, Level, Mode : Classic / Harmonic, Internal sine or square wave selector.
A cool Dual-Mode Tremolo - with similar functionality to the JHS 3 Series, or like a stripped down JAM Pedals Harmonious Monk. I'm personally a huge fan of of Harmonic Tremolos in particular - so it will be interesting to get some hands-on time with the PowerTrem - to see how it compares with some of my existing favourites. This one sounds exceptionally good in the demo.

Another perfect execution combining Chorus and Uni-Vibe modulations - both pedals are elegant and simple to use - but with some versatility and potency. The choice of knobs is interesting here - as there is definitely a sort of mainline JHS vibe about these. I find the black and orange colourway somewhat appealing - while more often associated with Heavy Metal! Another great sounding pair of modulations - there really is a sort of 3D quality to the output - even while that is just Mono. Both of these sound beautifully detailed and vibrant!
