So this Orama is a wonderful take on the early Orange 120 style of Amplifier from 1974, combined with legendary 90’s Boutique Fuzz - the Frantone Peachfuzz from 1997.

We have 6 controls on the Amp side, and 4 controls for the Fuzz. We also get the typical Send / Return FX Loop that Chrisots normally includes on his Dual Pedals. The two voicings here combine really beautifully - adding further richer textures and harmonics into the mix.

Controls - ORANGE AMP SIDE } Master Volume, High Frequency Dynamics / Harmonics, Gain, Fatness Adjustment Tweak, Hz Low Frequencies, kHz High Frequencies, Amp Footswitch, PEACHFUZZ SIDE } Volume, Fuzz, Tone, Gain : Raw (Low) / Burn (High), FUZZ Footswitch.

This continues a fine legacy set out by CTC’s Crossfire, Hi Power and Unobtanium pedals in particular. CTC’s Christos is a very fine purveyor of dual channel gain pedals and this one further underlines his reputation.

All the parameters are mostly easily understood - I’ve just needed to add a couple of notations to my visual for further clarification. This is another one of those pedals where the sum of its parts is greater than the whole. Props to Christos for this super smart pairing - it’s the first time I’ve seen this particular combination as far as recall. And since I don’t own a Peachfuzz variant yet - it would make ultimate sense for me to acquire one of these. Certainly something to consider early next year.

The Oarama can be yours for just €279 and equivalent ($305/£249) courtesy of the Crazy Tube Circuit Webstore - and imminently widely at International Dealers.
