Hotone's second Neon Series pedal - the Purple and Pink Freqlux Tripe-Voice Stereo Pitch-Shifter is another handy addition to the Verbera from that same roster

I’m lagging a little behind on these now - as Hotone has delivered a second excellent pedal for its Neon Collection / Series - an equally cool looking Freqlux 3-Voice Pitch-Shifter with a tonne of features onboard - including 200 presets slots, with 100 superior factory presets already loaded.

I still need to land the Hotone Verbera Convolution Reverb - where its high current draw initially put me off a little (rated @ 1000mA) - but I was later corrected - as that high current number was more about the rating of the included power supply - and Jake from Strymon Europe / MusicPsych told me at the London Synth & Pedal Expo - that it worked fine with the 9V / 660mA outlet of a Cioks Future Power Generation supply!  This Freqlux is rated at 9V @ 500mA - so a little easier to run therefore!

The visual carries most of the details - here below follow the Key Features and Specs, and some demos at the end!

Both the Freqlux and Verbera are priced @ $299 / £229 or thereabouts, and are relatively widely available. I will be coming for both eventually - while I’m already overdue on the Verbera. I reached out to Jake at the show as mentioned, and was expecting him to be getting in touch - but that’s not happened yet! There were two factors keeping the Verbera away from the board - how much I love the current incumbent Cornerstone Nucleo, and that high current draw challenge - which now seems to be resolved. So hopefully one of those is not too far away now!

You can read up more about the Freqlux on the Hotone Website.
